TRANSFER EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATION

The curved blade radial mixer is a simple and well proven impeller design that is easy to fabricate and corrosion protect and has proven to be very effective for keeping mixed liquor in suspension in the anaerobic and anoxic zones of an activated sludge sewage treatment process.
Tecroveer’ has embraced a philosophy of creative simplicity by creating synergy between process & equipment design thus reducing the number of mechanical components whilst optimising process performance and minimising operator input. The transfer mixer design transfers both return activated sludge (RAS) as well as internal mixed liquor recycle (MLR) whilst keeping mixed liquor in suspension in the anoxic and/or anaerobic zones.
RAS recirculation is achieved by encasing the impeller shaft and utilising a low pressure zone on the impeller top plate and resultant drop in the water level in the casing to gravite liquid into the casing from an adjacent area. MLR transfer is achieved by routing a pipe to the low pressure zone at the bottom of the impeller (also from an adjacent area).
